I was so fortunate to meet my friend Sawako last year and join forces with her and her website Miki Miette where my products are available to buy . Sawako has some other amazing products available on her site. I have featured some of them in this post and 6% of all sales go towards three non profits Citta, Walk with Sally & Pandas international.

American Rag Trunk Show

Home Spun Vintage first trunk show on Saturday August 28th at American Rag Cie in Hollywood. There will be some kids entertainment and light refreshments! So if you are in the area come and see our new line of reworked vintage and recycled kids clothes.

Firstly I have been so busy lately that I have been neglecting my blog. But I have some exciting protects that I have been working to share with you.

My friend Luhanda asked me to do 3 square hangings for her daughters Camille and Evelyn who are moving into a new bedroom. Owl, Giraffe and Butterfly are Camille's favorite animals.

I came across this exhibition at the Armory in Pasadena and just love these creatures. There made out of recycled fabrics, and furniture and stitched together.

Found this fabulous website Rickshaw Design and just love the fresh look and printed quality of the work. Catherine Fitzsimmons is the designer and creator she has a great blog too. All the work is inspired by India's block printing techniques. I just love it!

Lion Mobile

As a surprise for my friend Lynne I made this Lion mobile as a present for her baby shower. I also designed her nursery. I loved how it turned out and think I might make some more!
