I love etsy you can always find things that inspire you. I came across Atelier Pompadour and just loved her pillows and mobiles. She is from Italy and you can see the European influence in her work. She also has a very cute blog.

Introducing HomeSpun

Over the coming days I want to introduce you to a new project I have been working on. My friend Kathlene and I have started a new children's clothes line called HomeSpun. Are concept is to create a line of clothing using recycled fabrics and clothes. We are also working on a Vintage line too which I will blog about later.
We collected special pieces of used children's clothes and re-purposed them by adding applique and embellishments. This season we concentrated on a woodland theme. At the moment we have them available to buy on our etsy store but hope to have them available in LA stores soon.

Hope in the City - Wear your Story

I've been so busy lately and haven't blogged in awhile. Here is the first reason I have been so busy. Hope in the City fashion show! I was involved in the planning and organizing of this event which was hugely successful.
Please check out this site for more photos and images from the event.
Also look at the online catalog from the event.
We got lots of press including an online feature in the LA Weekly magazine.
