A few friends suggested that I should make a big version of my mobile birds. I did and turned it into a pillow. I'm working on some more and they'll be available in my etsy store shortly.

Flying Birds - handmade

Finally got around to post some photos from my birdie mobileshoot! I got my amazing friend Jess Koehler to take photos for this shoot.
I got a lot of interest after making my daughter a bird mobile for her room so I decided to make 10 more. The birds are all made from hand using different fabrics I have found some bought some vintage. I sewed all of them my hand using buttons, lace, ribbon and little decorative stitches. I wanted each one to be one of a kind - unique. I used found twigs to hang them from and I just love how they all turned out. They are for sale on my etsy site.
